This is Erk Russell, the greatest coach in Georgia History, my opinion, of course. Oh and that’s me, in college.
I was a photographic assistant in college and got to go to a lot of fund raisers, this man was an amazing speaker. He was also one of the kindest people I have ever met.
He was an assistant coach at University of Georgia and then Head Coach at Georgia Southern College, and that is where we met. He was a great man!

Oh yes football, it was the first year that my college started a football program. Football is really big here in the South.
