My next door neighbor had her birthday today! She is 11.
Happy Birthday Pumpkin!!!
They had collard greens as a manager’s special, 32 ounces for $1.99, so, I had to make some yummy, and a little bit spicy greens.
Here are the ingredients:
Super easy but super yummy, Jan’s Come to Jesus Blondies.
Ingredients:
8 tablespoons of butter (unsalted) – one stick
1 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch of salt
1 cup all purpose flour
Mix melted butter with the brown sugar, make sure it cools a little before you beat in the egg and vanilla. Add the salt and flour
Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Warning : There is a ton of cuteness in this post!
Coop and I went to the Fall Festival on Ponce. Let me first show you this kids area.
How fun would this be?
The place was packed but what we came upon on arrival was this….Is this little Sophie not adorable?
Okay really cute right, but wait, then we ran into this…
A Tricolor King Charles Spaniel named Charlie.
5 months old..
His mom wanted to change his name to Matthew McConaughey when I told her Bradley Cooper’s name.
It was a great fun interesting day!

This all occurs between between 5am and 7.30am. I will stagger to the bathroom and complete my ablutions. I will wander from room to room in the flat until I have gathered what I think I will need for the day. I am usually grumpy and tired but resigned to the fact that this is life and I should not complain. Finally, I leave the house and make my way to the station. I have started to buy a small cafe mocha and plain croissant before I start my hour long journey into work. It helps on the days that I do not manage to eat breakfast at home and…

It is fall again, time for the Fall Festivals! My neighborhood had their annual one today. Friends and neighbors all around, a fun time for all!
They had food from Rain (Sushi, Thai, Chinese, excellent food!) Marco’s Pizza and they were grilling burgers.
Pizzas delivered by delivery and fireman.
Coop enjoyed his really big water bowl, didn’t even notice all the cans and bottles. They had a silent auction, raffles (that were obviously rigged, no I did not win) Zumba classes, a cake walk and a really old magician, who amused many young children!
Zumba…
There was no keeping on the trail with Coop today. He loves to go on adventures and how lucky am I! So it was a gorgeous day and cool out. We started off the trail and it was headed down to the creek.
Where we saw this and this…
Another peaceful afternoon by the creek.
Then back on the trail and off again. We rested on a bench.
and listened and looked at all of this.
Camp Creek Greenway Trail is located north of Atlanta in Lilburn,GA.This is a great trail. This was at the beginning of the trail near the parking lot.
Then a little further down the trail there were these
There were three of these. Then if that isn’t enough then there was a Little Library.
They have tons of benches to rest. The day was lovely and peaceful.
I spied this little bird…
I think it is a Tufted Titmouse.
Special fountain near the end. It is just lovely. I hope everyone can take the time to visit!
