My neighbor Will was back in town and we met up with our old neighbor/friend Catherine (of recent Mardi Gras fame) at Ponce City Market.

Ponce City Market is a super fun place to dine and people watch and you can go up to their Skyline Park on the rooftop. (The rooftop has amusement games and a slide and fun food and a beer garden – admission only $5.00 in the winter)

But we were here to catch up and graze, we started at W.H. Stiles Fish Camp. We ordered s a variety of oysters, 4 different kinds. They were all very good!

Will and I got some calamari.  This was really great. It had the tender calamari, not heavily coated with peppers and onions, garbanzos, lemons, anchovies and crispy shallots. If you like calamari, you have to try this.

Oh and the Po Boys come with Utz’s Crabby Chips (my all-time favorite chip!) 

There are over 20 food and beverage stalls of some of the best restauranteurs in the city.It definitely is a super destination!
