Today my little baby niece graduated from High School! Not so much a baby any more.

It is amazing how fast time flies…

Sweetwater Creek State Park is about 30 minutes from my home, not too far. It is beautiful! They have several well marked trails.

The first trail, the most popular runs along the creek. I am used to walking trails alone or with Bradley Cooper, this trail is really popular. It runs up to the ruins of an old mill.

This was burned down during the civil war.

I decided to take another, less popular trail for some more of the hike.

It was so peaceful and spiritual…

Gorgeous ferns everywhere. I cannot wait to go back and see more.

Then this little guy wished me well in my travels.

I tried a new barbecue restaurant in Decatur this weekend.It was good.

I tried the brisket, It was moist and just fatty enough. They did sneak a couple of dry pieces on the bottom. They have a ton of different sauces. This meat is good enough to eat without sauce. I got mac n cheese and collards for sides. They were excellent!

I went back today and guess what? It’s rib Tuesday, you can save 40% off. So, I tried them.

The ribs are good, smoky and flavorful. Overall, very good sides and the meats are good.

I spotted a rare sole in the wild. It appears I was not alone in the spotting, the turtle was on top of it too. It was a tough shot to get, also. If you know soles, you know how sensitive and jitterish they can be.

I thought I spotted another one but it turned out to be just two very hungry mallard ducks…

This turtle was on the hunt also.

Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive sole…

I have wanted a bass guitar for a very long time. I went to the music store to take a look at a used one. While I was there, I spotted the Ukeleles. The Ukulele is basically a small bass guitar, that granted has a different sound, but you can make it what you want.

I am learning chords and methods of strumming.

It was a gift I gave myself!

 Strawberries, yum, I love them. Fruit goes bad so quickly though. So, for dinner, strawberries, blueberries, yogurt and a little granola. So absolutely great!

For breakfast, peanut butter and strawberries on crackers, this one you must try. This is super delicious!

What shall I have for lunch? any suggestions?

Heat up some grape seed oil, and chop up half an onion. I added a part of a green bell pepper  I had in the fridge too and three brussel sprouts chopped up. (at this point add whatever you want, celery, carrots, zucchini etc..)

I sprinkled some cumin in, it smells so great. Now, I added some mushrooms..

Add ground turkey or ground beef or just whatever protein you like or not…

Next is the easiest but most important part, this is what makes all great stir fries, one tablespoon of cornstarch with 1/4 cup soy sauce and about 2/3 cup of warm water. Stir into meat and veggie mixture.

While that is marrying chop a scallion and get your lettuce ready. I used Boston, but you can use any kind of lettuce you have.

Then put it all together and enjoy. It is really scrumptious!!!

The neighbor’s cat, Mouse comes to visit and it makes Bradley Cooper and me so happy! His first job was doing some rollies. He is so very good at these…
