Ameer’s Mediterranean Grill – on Briarcliff
I usually get the Falafel sandwich here, but I decided to go with the chicken kabob. So glad I tried it. The chicken was so tender and tasty. There was so much of it too. It comes with fries but I opted for the salad, which would be a great meal on it’s own. It has the perfect amount of spices and oil and vinegar. The sandwich had a wonderful smooth hummus and some tomatoes and cucumbers on it too. The bread is so pillowy soft.
It is an excellent sandwich and I totally recommend it.

Taqueria Del Sol – On Cheshire Bridge
I was a little under the weather last week when I went here. This sounded perfect, a chicken pot pie in a light pastry crust on rice with a spicy sauce with chilies from New Mexico. This was a daily sprecial. This is blow your mind great. It was wonderful chicken pot pie comfort food with this hit of spice that was just hot enough to let you know it was there but not to build up a sweat. Be careful if you go to get it, it will stick in your head as it is totally craveable.

The General Muir – at Emory Point
This is the BEST friend chicken in Atlanta. They only serve it Friday nights. The chicken itself is so unbelievably moist. The skin is a super light crunch, just perfect amount of crispiness. It came with a side of mac and cheese, which was superb! I didn’t think I would like it, but, it was unreal. The beer in the background is a Creature’s Comfort beer brewed in Athens, GA.
This was such a memorable meal, go try this!

This started out as a run by the grocery store to see if they had any great bargains. One chicken breast for $1.50. Sold!
When I got home I started thinking about what I should make. I had some veggies that would start going bad, broccoli, a few brussel sprouts, two carrots and I added in some celery onions and mushrooms.
I marinated the chicken breast in soy sauce lime garlic and olive oil. Then I put a little oil in the wok with chili oil, sesame oil and added the chicken.

Took the chicken out and added in the veggies.

cook for a while…then mix some cornstarch with soy sauce and a little hot water and pour into this, then add the chicken back in and voila!

It was delicious!
This is perhaps the most important vitamin you can take, vitamin “G” is gratitude. Studies show people that show gratitude have a better attitude, and lower signs of depression.
Daily you should write down 3 things you are grateful for, it can be your eyes, your dog, your partner, clean water, sunshine…etc…

What are you grateful for?

This family at the Atlanta Alive event was just adorable.

I had a great day volunteering for Dog Patch Atlanta, they are trying to get more dog parks in Atlanta. There is a law or ordinance that there cannot be dog parks built on less than 2 acres of land, it is an old one. The Atlanta Dog Patch is trying to change that law. Just trying to do good, new dog parks. I took some photos.

they were blasting Ghost Busters it was so cool
