Throwback Thursday
Wordless Wednesday
No Mas Cantina
It is a cool restaurant with a nice bar.
It is really the food you come for though. The obligatory chips and salsa…
Then for lunch, a tamale and one of the best tacos I have ever had.
It was fajita chicken taco, with charred chicken, so tasty.
Tamale was really just okay.
This is a shot of the shop next door, so many really cool things!
See!
Also, out front, pretty cool huh?

Chronic Conditions & Life Lessons
Dare my mind believe spring has sprung? Truly, just begun?
The clocks were set back prior to sleep last Saturday night while I hoped seven hours of slumber would magically feel like eight upon my wake. When lids lifted ‘later’ than usual Sunday morn, it was easy to pretend. Opening blinds of white to see a sun of yellow, it shined so bright…high in the sky. I had to bend my neck to the right while peeking through slats to see it there.
Grabbing a robe, Doodle dog followed every single step, meandering through rooms and spaces small until we were out the double doors atop the patio. Bricks of red felt unusually warm below bare feet and paws. Snow was gone. Could it be so? Birds were chirping, flying feathers near. Sunday Wedding Cake and Prosecco
My neighbors had a fun idea of how to spend out Sunday afternoon….With a Wedding Cupcake and a few glasses of Prosecco.
Isn’t is beautiful?
That is Melissa in a crown. We are all special!
This is Catherine and her adorable niece Madeline in the other crown.(Pink is her favorite color!)
This is Will cutting the cake! It was a lovely day and a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I recommend it for everyone!

North Fork Creekside Trail
We woke up this morning to snow. It really improved this afternoon, so we (Coop and I), walked to the trail.
It was about 45 degrees and sunny. A beautiful walk! We came across these guys.
It is like a beach underneath the expressway.
A smelly dirty beach but a beach, oh with homeless people. Then we crossed the bridge.
Cool huh? But the most exciting part of the walk was across LaVista. They have started a new part to the trail.
Crazy, it says the trail will take you to Emory University, which is quite a way away.
It is still a little mucky and rustic, but hey it’s a trail on a beautiful day.
We did come across a few questionable items.
How do you lose one shoe?
There were actually two shopping carts. Oh and as we were walking home we walked through a Wells Fargo drive through, where a super nice teller gave Coop a dog bone. He is a picky eater, but he loved the milk bone. What a great ending to a great walk!
