On the Georgia Tech Campus there is the Clough Garden a roof top garden.

Oh and the new trolley is running and you can ride it for free. It will take you to the King Historic Area and Sweet Auburn Market.IMG_0830The market has fresh fruit, seafood, sausage and meats and restaurants.

The Summer is here and there are tons of fun things to do in Atlanta!

Centennial Olympic Park II

ImageCentennial Olympic Park. is a great place to take the kids! or go down by yourself! or take your significant other. ImageYou can have a picnic in the shade.Image

Or you can go to Legal Seafood. Our trick is sharing. I recommend the Clam Chowder, get a cup, it is delicious! We split the Fish and Chips, spicy, it wasn’t very spicy but it was really awesome. The fish was so fresh and fried perfectly.Image

The kids can play in the fountain, bring a towel! Image

When all is done, try SkyView. It truly is fun!Image

It is not scary (there is a “panic” button just in case) The views are great! Image

It really has grown into a great destination in Atlanta. Let me know what kind of fun you have in the park.

Downtown Atlanta

ImageThere are a lot of fun things to do in downtown Atlanta. There are a few movies being filmed downtown right now. I enjoyed a great bowl of soup at Legal Seafood, it was wonderful. My waiter, Chris didn’t know which movie was filming but if Angelina Jolie was involved he would jump off the building to get her autograph (he is a huge fan, duh) It took the people filming an hour to shoot an Audi drive down Luckie St.

ImageThen just a short walk into Centennial Olympic Park. They have the fountains spraying water and little kids running around and giggling, it is impossible not to get caught up in their happiness!

Then onward and upward to Skyview Atlanta. I cannot lie, it is a little scary at first, but you get used to it and you can see everything!Image

That’s Bobby Dodd Stadium. I totally recommend giving it a whirl.

Next stop, CNN Center. I didn’t take the tour, maybe another day. Image

These things are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to downtown Atlanta. We will explore other things to do another day! Any questions, let me know!
