Monday Morning
No actual photos on this post – just the photos in your mind. When you think of my character, I will be played by Lucille Ball.
We live on a cul de sac, so, we generally notice when a car comes down the street that does not belong, this happened yesterday morning. I get up to look out of the front door and a woman is outside the passenger side of a mini van, throwing up. Yes, gross, puking in front of my house. Okay, I think I better go wash that off of the street, because if Coop thinks kittie poop is delicious he might go crazy over this. (Hey it’s a dog thing)
My garden hose has been in my “rustic” backyard for at least two years, with over growth of ivy and other vines. I start pulling and pulling and finally I get it out. I have to pull it up to the street now. My hands are brown with dirt. I climb through the bushes to find the outside faucet. I turn it on, and there is a huge spray of water to the right of me, hole in the hose. This is a craftsman hose, lifetime guarantee. A varmint ate a hole into it. Whew.
I go inside and find a bucket and fill it with soapy water and get a watering can and fill it with water, twice.
Almost every Christmas my brother Bill gives me “as seen on tv” items, which get an immediate eye roll, but the tape to repair hoses and sinks really works. So, I got to spray down the street in front of my house and all was well with the world.

Kittridge Park – A Beautiful Day!
It was an insanely beautiful day. Late in the afternoon, Coop and I decided to go to Kittridge Park for a walk.
It was super peaceful.
Coop loved it! When we got to the top we saw this.
We sat down and had some water, it was a little hot today, yahoo!
We are so lucky to have all these trails so convenient to us!
It was glorious

No Mas Cantina
It is a cool restaurant with a nice bar.
It is really the food you come for though. The obligatory chips and salsa…
Then for lunch, a tamale and one of the best tacos I have ever had.
It was fajita chicken taco, with charred chicken, so tasty.
Tamale was really just okay.
This is a shot of the shop next door, so many really cool things!
See!
Also, out front, pretty cool huh?
Sunday Wedding Cake and Prosecco
My neighbors had a fun idea of how to spend out Sunday afternoon….With a Wedding Cupcake and a few glasses of Prosecco.
Isn’t is beautiful?
That is Melissa in a crown. We are all special!
This is Catherine and her adorable niece Madeline in the other crown.(Pink is her favorite color!)
This is Will cutting the cake! It was a lovely day and a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I recommend it for everyone!

North Fork Creekside Trail
We woke up this morning to snow. It really improved this afternoon, so we (Coop and I), walked to the trail.
It was about 45 degrees and sunny. A beautiful walk! We came across these guys.
It is like a beach underneath the expressway.
A smelly dirty beach but a beach, oh with homeless people. Then we crossed the bridge.
Cool huh? But the most exciting part of the walk was across LaVista. They have started a new part to the trail.
Crazy, it says the trail will take you to Emory University, which is quite a way away.
It is still a little mucky and rustic, but hey it’s a trail on a beautiful day.
We did come across a few questionable items.
How do you lose one shoe?
There were actually two shopping carts. Oh and as we were walking home we walked through a Wells Fargo drive through, where a super nice teller gave Coop a dog bone. He is a picky eater, but he loved the milk bone. What a great ending to a great walk!
