Landmarks around Atlanta – Centennial Olympic Park
Centennial Olympic Park is in downtown Atlanta. It’s a beautiful place to visit and there is a lot to do….

You can play in the fountains, but every now and then they put on a fountain concert. It was actually really entertaining.
This groovy little chickadee enjoyed it!
Then you can take a ride on Sky View, where I met this super nice photographer, and Lucky, a sweet girl who is a loader, they put you into the cars.
Oh and there was a company outing in the park and there were teams of line dancers…
The College Hall of Fame is down there now too.
Which I am sure it will become a landmark on its own in the future.
All that walking got me a little peckish, so off to
Legal Sea Foods, which is a Boston Landmark with an outpost here. It is so good.
Clam Chowder and a Blue Moon beer, yummy. I was also my server’s very first customer ever, that was so cool, and she was very sweet and attentive.
There are so many things more to share, but, another day!
ThrowBack Thursday!
Wordless Wednesday!
Atlanta Landmarks – Manuel’s Tavern
This is one of the coolest dive bars in Atlanta. When we were in our twenties we came here all of the time. The food is great!
It has not changed at all. Staycationers definitely need to go here. They are going to put in a mixed used development here starting next January. I overheard someone say today that they are going in preserve the interior as it is right now,

It was Tucker Days on Saturday!
It was Tucker Days in Tucker, GA on Saturday. The difference this year is my neighbor/friend, Melissa had a booth.
She is selling super cute container gardens.
She had a pretty good day. It was kinda hot. Coop and I walked around for awhile.
Local 7 was selling BBQ sandwiches. (oh and rumor has it they are opening another restaurant, can’t wait!) I went with Moonshadow Saloon’s BBQ sandwich.
It was excellent.
It was a fun day all around.
