This is a fairly new trail and kinda just down the street from us. The name pretty much explains it all. It starts at Cheshire Bridge Road and ends at LaVista, or vice versa.
Coop really likes this trail.
The trail goes along the creek and the expressway, so as far as peaceful, not so much.
Cool bridge crosses the river.
It’s about a mile long.
This is where it ends or begins!

Wow Morningside Nature Preserve!
I have to be honest, when I first got here I had my doubts.
This was part of the beginning view. Hmm, I am not sure how great this is going to be, but boy was I wrong!
Happy to get going.
It is a spectacular trail in the middle of the city.
It actually turns into a real trail. With a cool bridge.
Right in the middle of it. Then it ends here.
So, you have to go back.
This was one of my favorite places I have found yet.
Have you been here? Did you like it?
Great Walking Trail – South Peachtree Creek Trail
We are so lucky in Georgia and Atlanta to have so many Parks and Trails! I found this one today and I am so glad I did.
It is a beautiful day today, crisp and clear, the trail is a little over a mile. The scenery is great!
Cute little bird houses…Lots of graffiti.
Not tons, I guess the appropriate amount for train tunnels.
It is pleasant and peaceful.
There is a park at the end with many baseball fields. (or the beginning depending on where you start)
This park is a the back of Mason Mill Park off of Clairmont Road.
Let me know of a park I can visit near you. Happy Staycation!!!

Quest for the Best – FAJITAS – Taqueria Los Hermanos
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Atlanta. They have four locations, Tucker, Lilburn, Lawrenceville and Suwanee. I have never tried their fajitas because everything else on their menu is so good, until this week….
They didn’t disappoint me with their fajitas either. The chicken was tender and well seasoned and this chicken was cut before it was grilled, leaving it super juicy. The cheese dip was great also.
It has the jalepenos chopped and on the side so you can dump them in or not. These fajitas are very good. I would rank them in my top three.
I have always gone to the Tucker restaurant but this one was their Lawrenceville Taqueria. Service was outstanding and the food is excellent. Have you been there? Let me know what you think.
Atlanta Braves Another Great Day Game
Today the weather was perfect and the traffic wasn’t too bad. So I drove down, went to a kiosk and purchased tickets, it is so incredibly easy. Oh and you can get tickets for as little as $10.00. Staycationwise, you could bring in your own food and water and not spend that much for a fun day for your family.
This was this adorable guy’s first baseball game. He was so cute.We were up at Sky Field. (I had never been)
Look at these big ole coke bottle adirondack chairs. That is a full grown Dodgers fan sitting there. Pretty funny, huh?
Then down to the outfield for a Holeman & Finch burger. Yahoo. My photo doesn’t do it justice. It is so good and Kevin Gillespie was right behind me in line. He is chef/owner Gunshow, he was on Top Chef. Just from watching Top Chef he was a fan favorite and a really nice guy.
I think a Braves game is one of the most perfect staycation idea, even if the Braves lose. (Which they did)
