If you go this way on the Beltline, you end up in Piedmont Park, but if you go the other way you end up in Inman Park.
Piedmont Park, is a park with grass and trees and a pool and dog parks.
Inman Park is a neighborhood with homes and apartments and lots of great restaurants.
This is the patio at Kevin Rathbun’s Steak, it smells great.
This is a super cool mural that if you look closely, the woman is on scaffolding and painting. This is for The Icebox, a great promotional producer. T-shirts Hats Jackets etc.
Parish a yummy awesome restaurant.
Oh and there is some really cool artwork along the way.
Oh and there is a skatepark.
This is a great fun way to spend the day and if walking isn’t your thing, there are bike rental places. It is really fun!
Fred’s Meat and Bread
I went walking on a part of the Beltway and ran into Krog Street Market…
Inside the market and a lot of food stalls and flowers and chocolate and a charcuterie. It is an awesome place to visit if you get the chance.
One of the places is Fred’s Meat and Bread. The menu is intriguing. A spicy korean chicken sandwich caught my eye, but I was there for the cheese steak. (Whoa I am so glad I stuck to my guns)
This sandwich was out of this world good, no great!
This is the BEST cheesesteak I have ever had in Atlanta!

After you are done go outside and visit this ultra cute giftstore….

A Small Act Of Kindness Can Bring Smile On Million Faces
A monk decides to meditate alone, away from his monastery. He takes his boat out to the middle of the lake, moors it there, closes his eyes and begins his meditation.
After a few hours of undisturbed silence, he suddenly feels the bump of another boat colliding with his own.
With his eyes still closed, he senses his anger rising, and by the time he opens his eyes, he is ready to scream at the boatman who dared disturb his meditation.
But when he opens his eyes, he sees it’s an empty boat that had probably got untethered and floated to the middle of the lake.
At that moment, the monk achieves self-realization, and understands that the anger is within him; it merely needs the bump of an external object to provoke it out of him.
From then on, whenever he comes across someone who irritates him or provokes him…

Downtown Atlanta
Dahlonega, Georgia
Dahlonega, Georgia is located about an hour north of Atlanta.
In 1828, Dahlonega was the site of the first major gold rush in the United States.
This is the Dahlonega Gold Rush Museum Historic Site. It stands in the middle of the town square. Around the square are cute shops and restaurants.

I met my friend Paula and her boyfriend Tommy and this wonderful pub, Shenanigans.
The food was great! (I forgot to take food photos) It was great catching up with Paula and meeting her boyfriend for the first time.(He is a good soul) It was a wonderful afternoon.
Oh and this coffee shop was adorable.
So go look around, pan for gold, go tubing, or kayaking or hiking.
