IMG_4189Cool mushrooms. Then the sense of humor ran out. IMG_4184Not cool. IMG_4194We ran into two other Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They were not interested in Coop though.

Christmas Gift Ideas Part 2

Christmas BlondiesMason jar filled with bite size Blondies. (The easiest treat to make in the world, but don’t tell anyone!) A little ribbon around the top and a cute label. Gift done!

I have been trying for a while to come up with a brownie recipe I am happy with. I really like this one. BrowniesI put toll house cookie dough on the bottom and then put in the brownie on the top. Brownies aren’t too tough to make, just a lot of stirring. I put some of these in Christmas Ziploc Plastic containers. I think people really appreciate you taking the time to bake for them. I have not gotten any feedback on the Brownies yet, but I will keep you posted!

Quest for the Best – Fajitas – La Hacienda

IMG_4153Oh Yes, La Hacienda is in Midtown Atlanta. The staff is super nice and the food is very good!

The cheese dip is great, because it has the chopped up jalepenos and they do not charge you extra for them. You start with two types of salsa.Fajitas2The yummy cheese dip….Fajitas1Then the fajitas…Fajitas 4Yeah! They cut the chicken up before they cooked them. These were very good. Fajitas 5Beans and rice, pico and guac, all very good, the rice especially.

Fajitas3Cute decor. I recommend this place as very good for fajitas.

Christmas Gift Ideas!

My neighbor wanted to give her niece a dog ornament for Christmas. So, I had these ceramic square ornaments. I printed a photo of one of her dogs and glued it to the ornament then finished it. Here is one of them. IMG_4155This is Hobie, quite the handsome dog. What I was making before this were these….IMG_4158This is Catfish, I printed in black and white, mounted to a canvas and finished with a dull Mod Podge….Here is Pumpkin IMG_4160Then the last one I have done is Addie. IMG_4164 Then all three on the mantel.IMG_4172Then I found these two books yesterday. They are awkward moments told by cute little animal, in a book, but postcards. IMG_4167and IMG_4166Are those a hoot or what? I can’t believe I have never seen them before.Do you have good christmas ideas?
