Here is my super secret collard green recipe, enjoy! Take 16 ounces fresh Collards or you can use Turnip Greens too. Boil them for 45 minutes with water to about half of the way in the pot, like this
Now grab a cup of tea.
Chop up a small onion and a couple of cloves of garlic.
If you have a small, mini food processor take a bout 4 chile de arbol pods and put them in and grind them up.
Melt 3 tablespoons of butter and the onions garlic and ground chile de arbol. Drain the water off of the greens add a half of a jar of Herdez salsa, hot! to the greens.
Okay add the onion mixture stir and leave on to cook at medium for an hour. Now you know the secret to good luck for the new year! ENJOY!! and Happy New Year!

The graffiti artists have been branching out.
At least they have a sense of humor.
Cool mushrooms. Then the sense of humor ran out.
Not cool.
We ran into two other Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They were not interested in Coop though.
It has been an interesting year on the trail, Thank you all for going on the trail with me! Happy New Year!

Christmas Gift Ideas Part 2
Mason jar filled with bite size Blondies. (The easiest treat to make in the world, but don’t tell anyone!) A little ribbon around the top and a cute label. Gift done!
I have been trying for a while to come up with a brownie recipe I am happy with. I really like this one.
I put toll house cookie dough on the bottom and then put in the brownie on the top. Brownies aren’t too tough to make, just a lot of stirring. I put some of these in Christmas Ziploc Plastic containers. I think people really appreciate you taking the time to bake for them. I have not gotten any feedback on the Brownies yet, but I will keep you posted!

Quest for the Best – Fajitas – La Hacienda
Oh Yes, La Hacienda is in Midtown Atlanta. The staff is super nice and the food is very good!
The cheese dip is great, because it has the chopped up jalepenos and they do not charge you extra for them. You start with two types of salsa.
The yummy cheese dip….
Then the fajitas…
Yeah! They cut the chicken up before they cooked them. These were very good.
Beans and rice, pico and guac, all very good, the rice especially.
Cute decor. I recommend this place as very good for fajitas.
Christmas Gift Ideas!
My neighbor wanted to give her niece a dog ornament for Christmas. So, I had these ceramic square ornaments. I printed a photo of one of her dogs and glued it to the ornament then finished it. Here is one of them.
This is Hobie, quite the handsome dog. What I was making before this were these….
This is Catfish, I printed in black and white, mounted to a canvas and finished with a dull Mod Podge….Here is Pumpkin
Then the last one I have done is Addie.
Then all three on the mantel.
