Fall Festival on Ponce

Warning : There is a ton of cuteness in this post!

Coop and I went to the Fall Festival on Ponce. Let me first show you this kids area. IMG_6431   IMG_6432   IMG_6433   IMG_6434How fun would this be?

The place was packed but what we came upon on arrival was this….IMG_6436Is this little Sophie not adorable? IMG_6437Okay really cute right, but wait, then we ran into this…IMG_6440A Tricolor King Charles Spaniel named Charlie.IMG_6441  5 months old..IMG_6445His mom wanted to change his name to Matthew McConaughey when I told her Bradley Cooper’s name. Trail 3It was a great fun interesting day!

LaVista Park Fall Festival

It is fall again, time for the Fall Festivals! My neighborhood had their annual one today. IMG_6412Friends and neighbors all around, a fun time for all! IMG_6415They had food from Rain (Sushi, Thai, Chinese, excellent food!) Marco’s Pizza and they were grilling burgers. IMG_6413Pizzas delivered by delivery and fireman.

IMG_6419Coop enjoyed his really big water bowl, didn’t even notice all the cans and bottles. They had a silent auction, raffles (that were obviously rigged, no I did not win) Zumba classes, a cake walk and a really old magician, who amused many young children! IMG_6425Zumba…

It was a great day! IMG_6426

Off the Trail with Coop

IMG_6409There was no keeping on the trail with Coop today. He loves to go on adventures and how lucky am I! So it was a gorgeous day and cool out. We started off the trail and it was headed down to the creek. IMG_6405Where we saw this and this…IMG_6408Another peaceful afternoon by the creek. Trail 1Then back on the trail and off again. We rested on a bench. Trail 3 and listened and looked at all of this.

Camp Creek Greenway Trail

Camp Creek Greenway Trail is located north of Atlanta in Lilburn,GA.IMG_6358This is a great trail. This was at the beginning of the trail near the parking lot. IMG_6364Then a little further down the trail there were these IMG_6368There were three of these. Then if that isn’t enough then there was a Little Library. IMG_6370They have tons of benches to rest. The day was lovely and peaceful.IMG_6372    IMG_6374I spied this little bird…IMG_6380 I think it is a Tufted Titmouse. IMG_6393

Kittridge Park and the beginning of Fall

IMG_6315Kittridge Park is beginning to show some signs of fall. I love to go across the bridge..IMG_6317It was a beautiful fall day. Then we start climbing up the trail….IMG_6324The trail is rustic and oh so peaceful…IMG_6328So I let Coop walk off the leash.IMG_6349He loved it! He did a great job.IMG_6350You go up one trail up a steep hill and then down a steepish gravel trail…IMG_6339Then across the way is another trail. IMG_6350These steps lead up to a really nice shady portion of an easy trail. IMG_6352So if you want a really nice fun easy hike head on over to the trail at Kittridge Park.

Rich Vision Moves

My neighbor Will’s business, Rich Vision, moved their office around the corner. IMG_6292  The whole complex was given a facelift. So it was a great opportunity to move and upgrade. IMG_6288 Isn’t this cute! IMG_6286   IMG_6298 This used to be Loehman’s Plaza, now it is Brighten Park. There is a Fresh Market where Loehman’s used to be. IMG_6307This is one of the coolest parts…It is for a line called Silhouettes.

If you need an eye exam stop by, or if you just want to check it out.  IMG_6302

Minor-League Buzz Major League Life

A friend of mine wrote a book, ML1Don Miers wrote this and I have had the pleasure of being his friend for many years now. We met at Minor League Marketing Meetings in El Paso. All these years and every fun time he would say, “that’s going in the book”. Here are a few of the characters. ML2Now this is many years ago at The Winter Meetings in Nashville.

Now the story is a good read. It keeps you going and it is a nice progression. If you would like to buy one you can go to Donmiers.com. I truly recommend it. It is about baseball, sex, rock n roll, but really about life.
