Fall Festival on Ponce
Warning : There is a ton of cuteness in this post!
Coop and I went to the Fall Festival on Ponce. Let me first show you this kids area.
How fun would this be?
The place was packed but what we came upon on arrival was this….
Is this little Sophie not adorable?
Okay really cute right, but wait, then we ran into this…
A Tricolor King Charles Spaniel named Charlie.
5 months old..
His mom wanted to change his name to Matthew McConaughey when I told her Bradley Cooper’s name.
It was a great fun interesting day!
LaVista Park Fall Festival
It is fall again, time for the Fall Festivals! My neighborhood had their annual one today.
Friends and neighbors all around, a fun time for all!
They had food from Rain (Sushi, Thai, Chinese, excellent food!) Marco’s Pizza and they were grilling burgers.
Pizzas delivered by delivery and fireman.
Coop enjoyed his really big water bowl, didn’t even notice all the cans and bottles. They had a silent auction, raffles (that were obviously rigged, no I did not win) Zumba classes, a cake walk and a really old magician, who amused many young children!
Zumba…
Off the Trail with Coop
There was no keeping on the trail with Coop today. He loves to go on adventures and how lucky am I! So it was a gorgeous day and cool out. We started off the trail and it was headed down to the creek.
Where we saw this and this…
Another peaceful afternoon by the creek.
Then back on the trail and off again. We rested on a bench.
and listened and looked at all of this.
Camp Creek Greenway Trail
Camp Creek Greenway Trail is located north of Atlanta in Lilburn,GA.
This is a great trail. This was at the beginning of the trail near the parking lot.
Then a little further down the trail there were these
There were three of these. Then if that isn’t enough then there was a Little Library.
They have tons of benches to rest. The day was lovely and peaceful.
I spied this little bird…
I think it is a Tufted Titmouse.
Special fountain near the end. It is just lovely. I hope everyone can take the time to visit!
Wordless Wednesday
Kittridge Park and the beginning of Fall
Kittridge Park is beginning to show some signs of fall. I love to go across the bridge..
It was a beautiful fall day. Then we start climbing up the trail….
The trail is rustic and oh so peaceful…
So I let Coop walk off the leash.
He loved it! He did a great job.
You go up one trail up a steep hill and then down a steepish gravel trail…
Then across the way is another trail.
These steps lead up to a really nice shady portion of an easy trail.
So if you want a really nice fun easy hike head on over to the trail at Kittridge Park.
Rich Vision Moves
My neighbor Will’s business, Rich Vision, moved their office around the corner.
The whole complex was given a facelift. So it was a great opportunity to move and upgrade.
Isn’t this cute!
This used to be Loehman’s Plaza, now it is Brighten Park. There is a Fresh Market where Loehman’s used to be.
This is one of the coolest parts…It is for a line called Silhouettes.
If you need an eye exam stop by, or if you just want to check it out.
Minor-League Buzz Major League Life
A friend of mine wrote a book,
Don Miers wrote this and I have had the pleasure of being his friend for many years now. We met at Minor League Marketing Meetings in El Paso. All these years and every fun time he would say, “that’s going in the book”. Here are a few of the characters.
Now this is many years ago at The Winter Meetings in Nashville.
Now the story is a good read. It keeps you going and it is a nice progression. If you would like to buy one you can go to Donmiers.com. I truly recommend it. It is about baseball, sex, rock n roll, but really about life.
