Beltline to Inman Park….

If you go this way on the Beltline, you end up in Piedmont Park, but if you go the other way you end up in Inman Park.
Piedmont Park, is a park with grass and trees and a pool and dog parks.
Inman Park is a neighborhood with homes and apartments and lots of great restaurants.
This is the patio at Kevin Rathbun’s Steak, it smells great.
This is a super cool mural that if you look closely, the woman is on scaffolding and painting. This is for The Icebox, a great promotional producer. T-shirts Hats Jackets etc.
Parish a yummy awesome restaurant.
Oh and there is some really cool artwork along the way.
Oh and there is a skatepark.
This is a great fun way to spend the day and if walking isn’t your thing, there are bike rental places. It is really fun!

Downtown Atlanta
Dahlonega, Georgia
Dahlonega, Georgia is located about an hour north of Atlanta.
In 1828, Dahlonega was the site of the first major gold rush in the United States.
This is the Dahlonega Gold Rush Museum Historic Site. It stands in the middle of the town square. Around the square are cute shops and restaurants.

I met my friend Paula and her boyfriend Tommy and this wonderful pub, Shenanigans.
The food was great! (I forgot to take food photos) It was great catching up with Paula and meeting her boyfriend for the first time.(He is a good soul) It was a wonderful afternoon.
Oh and this coffee shop was adorable.
So go look around, pan for gold, go tubing, or kayaking or hiking.
Historic Oakland Cemetery
Staycationers Historic Oakland Cemetery is a great place to visit.
It is a huge gardening cemetery.

This is Maynard Jackson’s grave.
He was Atlanta’s first African American Mayor and served for three terms. Atlanta’s airport is named Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
This is where Bobby Jones is buried.
Then across the street is Six Feet Under…a restaurant.
More about that later.
Neighbors are the best!
I live on a cup-de-sac, with the BEST neighbors ever. I have another group of neighborhood friends one street over. They are AWESOME also!
We had a little get together last night to say goodbye to one of our favorite families.
Every morning Bradley Cooper is greeted by the kids. They love him and he loves them. He is going to miss them a great deal.
This is a wonderful neighborhood!
Willy had a great time too!
